Halloween in Denver has a little somethin’-somethin’ for everybody: a haunted house for your scream queens, a corn maze that’ll delight the buddy hyped on apple cider donuts, rooftop parties for folks who’d already picked their group costumes way back in September.
The art is in matching the event to your crew, ghosts and ghouls.
We’ve sorted this year’s finest fall festivities & Halloween happenings by vibe! Find yours, pick a night, and let’s get everyone there together.
The Spooky Crew: for the ghouls who actually LIKE being scared
If your group considers jump scares a bonding activity, you’re in the right place:
13th Floor Haunted House: It's open Sept 11 through Nov 14, with tickets starting around $20. Terrifying haunted houses, axe throwing, mini escape games, secret bars, and a creepy clown maze. There’s plenty to do and plenty of time left to do it.
Scream Acres at Fritzler Farm Park: A haunted corn maze after dark that’s on the same grounds as a full fall festival. You can make a full day of it: daytime maze, snacks, then screaming through the night.
Terror in the Corn: An immersive haunted cornfield maze that traps you with a mile-long journey into your worst fears! Entry includes access to their Fall Festival, so you’ve got a full day of activities at your fingertips.
Colorado Springs Haunts: HellScream and The Fear Complex both made The Scare Factor’s 2026 must-see list. Colorado Springs is about 75 minutes from Denver, so it works as a full spooky road trip.
Planning tip: Haunted houses are a heck of a lot more fun when nobody has to worry about parking or who will be driving home. And you know how it goes in all the scary movies, the danger starts when you split the party!
The Cozy Fall Crew: cider, pumpkins, and Charlie Brown vibes
Not everybody wants to be chased by a chainsaw. Some of us just want to Linus & Lucy dance our day away while snuggled up in a big sweater. If that’s you, we’ve got options:
Fritzler Farm Park Fall Festival: A perfectly quaint fall festival where you could pick yourself the perfect pumpkin right off the vine. There are tons of family-friendly activities, like a giant corn maze, the pumpkin patch, games, treats, photo spots, etc. They’ll be running through the last weekend of October.
Denver Botanic Gardens: Look out for their fall lineup. Ghosts in the Gardens is running on select nights, as well as an impressive 8-acre corn maze.
Trick-or-Treat Street at Larimer Square: On Saturday, Oct 24, a spirited spooky season takes over Larimer square. There’ll be seasonal activities for all ages.

The Night-Out Crew (21+): costumes, cocktails, and Halloween weirdness
This is for the ghostly grown ups:
The Last Dance rooftop pop-up: An immersive Halloween rooftop bar with dancing, themed cocktails, and seasonal bites; open Oct 15-31.
Clocktower Cabaret: This cabaret has been hosting live shows in Denver for 20 years. They’ve got two seasonal events happening this year. Clocktower Conjuring, an ‘immersive speakeasy & seance experience’ featuring burlesque, aerial, and dance, and BOOlesque, a burlesque event where costumes are encouraged.
The Poetry Brothel Denver: Monsters! An immersive cabaret with live poets, a DJ, and tarot readers.
Halloween bar crawls and the LoDo Zombie Crawl: Plenty of bar crawl potential for the last weekend of October! And the LoDo Zombie Crawl will take over LoDo on Halloween, with 20+ bars and nightclubs in the lineup.
Planning tip: Bar crawls and big Halloween nights are exactly the right time to put your trust in a party bus to celebrate the right way: safely! Everybody celebrates! Everyone looks fab! And then everyone gets home SAFE and snug as a bug at the end of the night. No designated driver, no price-surging, no rideshare scramble.
How to plan a group Halloween outing without going mad
Pick a night early. Halloween weekend sells out fast and timed tickets go first.
Match the event to the LEAST scare-tolerant person in your party. Or you can split the night: daytime cozy, night time spooky.
Sort out the ride before the costumes. A party bus has plenty of space for big props, capes, and wings, but you might be hard pressed to try and get those into an uber! A group bus means you don’t need a plan B.
Pack for Colorado weather. There’s room on the bus to leave behind a few layers, but it’s best practice to make sure you’ve got what you need to be comfortable.
